Favorite Dishes: charcoal grilled/bbq US angus, tempura soft shell crab, toro, figs with honey and some sort of cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, hk-style waffles (gai darn jai), roasted chestnuts, duck (most ways), cantonese-style pigeon, roast pumpkin and feta salad, roasted (excell. quality) tomatoes, (philippino) mango anything, asparagus and lamb in spring, stews, thai five-spice duck rice, thai minced chicken stir fired with basil (ga pow gai), tom ka gai, cantonese style steamed fish (providing fish is uber fresh), a good loaf of rye sourdough, indochine's (melbourne) special pork chop broken rice with double nuoc cham... just anything nice :D

Favorite Drinks: chateau d'yquem sauternes, vintage dom perignon, most things from chateauneuf-du-pape, coffee, jasmine tea, cantonese soups

Best meal ever: not dead yet, so i wouldn't know, but so far the night i had truffle paparadelle at grossi florentino in melbourne would rank in my top five i think.

Favorite Restaurants: grossi florentino (melbourne), sarti (melbourne), ming court (hong kong), dzung pho (melbourne), babka (melbourne), france-soir (melbourne), journal (melb), degraves (melb), the place where we had excellent katsu (tokyo), rao he night market (taipei), the duck rice stall at sukhumvit soi 8 (bangkok), shanghai garden (hutchison house, hkg), tai ping koon (causeway or tst, hkg), caffe falai (new york), bandol sur mer (berlin), zoe patisserie (hong kong)... strictly speaking some of these aren't "restaurants", but good food does not deserve to go unlisted!
